The Executive Board of a Chamber of Commerce is a critical component of the organization’s leadership structure. The JPACC/ToV board consists of experienced business leaders who are elected or appointed to oversee the strategic direction and overall management of the Chamber. They may also be responsible for developing and implementing policies, making financial decisions, and ensuring that the Chamber is fulfilling its mission and serving its members effectively.
This Board of Directors’ are the backbone of the Chamber, providing guidance and leadership to the staff and volunteers who work to implement its programs and initiatives. Their expertise and experience in the business community make them valuable advisors to the Chamber’s staff and members, helping to ensure that the organization is responsive to the needs and concerns of its members and the community it serves.
This Board each play a critical role in fostering relationships with other business and community leaders, government officials, and economic development organizations. They often serve as the public face of the Chamber,( as well as other boards) advocating for the interests of the business community/industry and working to create a positive image of the Chamber and the Jay Peak Region.
As we close out a fiscal year and begin a new, I wanted to sincerely thank each of The Jay Peak Area Chamber of Commerce Directors. Each of you are a vital component of the organization, providing leadership, guidance, and expertise to ensure the success and sustainability of the Chamber and the businesses we represent.
