A historic village located in the North East Kingdom of VT. Tour or visit the monumental stone dormitory, called Athenian Hall, built 1834-1836 by African American Alexander Lucius Twilight. The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village opens seasonally from Mid May to Mid October, Wednesdays through Sundays (Closed Mondays & Tuesdays). We are open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
To go inside the Old Stone House and our other historic buildings you must book a tour either in-person on arrival or online before you come to visit.
