At the Top Of VT there’s no shortage of outdoor activities.  Sweeping vistas seen from the roadside offer much more to explore. Whether you prefer wheels, treads, or tracks, the area’s wide network of recreational trails offer a closer look into the Northeast Kingdom a variety of experiences for everyone.

Take a look through some of the Top’s different options for mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling, or just a walk with your four-legged family member. Enjoy sections of the Long Trail to the Canadian border, VAST trails for winter rides, or places like the Jay Rec. Center for a mix of seasonal ways to play.

Experience our historic Green Mountains and winding valleys, meander along rivers and across glacial lakes, while taking in sights that take your breath away. And while you’re out on the trail, check out our  snowmobile friendly pubs and restaurants to refuel and refresh after a day of riding.

Jay Peak is a four season resort, but it’s known for receiving the most snowfall in Eastern North America and its iconic Aerial Tram (the only one in Vermont). Experience a wide range of terrain suitable for any level. And if you’re up for the challenge, be sure to explore the steep and deep nooks and crannies beyond the groomed trails. Jay Peak is also famous for its expansive glade network that covers the entire mountain.
